  • Noisy Landscapes in Gallery Simulaker, 4-14 Dec 2012

Exhibition Noisy Landscapes joins three works: Oscilo 4, Oscilo 5, and Sumogen.
Oscilo 4 is an object and an enigmatic space full of dynamic connections that uncover deep systemic "matter", a space usually hidden and invisible, of which parts are here temporarily uncovered as trajectories. Fleeting noise landscapes are an infinite playground of signals, digital streams and clashing algorithms.
Oscilo 5 consists of two objects that host anthropomorphic "creatures" floating in infinite space. These dynamic digital "beings" habituate in an ethereal landscape build through multiple streams of audio particles that come from recordings of electronic and mechanical toys.
Sumogen is a study of the anatomy of imaginary toy-like objects. As a work in progress and an exploration of the history of anthropomorphized objects within society, these iconic toy-like objects are infused with traces of idols, dolls, toys and statues of deities.
